At Junior Historian, we are passionate about making history come alive for young minds. We believe that by combining the power of storytelling and the magic of audio, we can create an immersive learning experience that sparks curiosity, fosters imagination, and instills a lifelong love for history. This is why we created Tiptoe Tales, a collection of short audio stories all about museums and other historical sites across the UK. Plus, all of our audio stories for children come with a printable scavenger hunt to make your visit even more exciting!
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide children with an exciting and accessible way to explore the wonders of the past. We aim to make history engaging and relevant by presenting it in the form of captivating audio stories. Through our carefully crafted narratives, we hope to inspire a sense of wonder, encourage critical thinking, and cultivate a deeper understanding of our world’s rich historical tapestry. Our series of Tiptoe Tales audio stories are an excellent introduction to museums and historical sites, and are best enjoyed prior to visiting the location the story is about!

We recognise that parents play a crucial role in their child’s educational journey. What’s more, is that we find that as children become more engaged and curious in learning about history, the more questions they will ask. But, parents need not worry! As a parent, you can join your child on their historical adventure, guiding them through the stories and discussing the lessons they’ve learned. We know how busy parents are, and that’s why our short museum audio stories are perfect for parents as well as children!
